Palm Kernel Flakes is an oil in a solid flake form. Commonly used up to 15% in cold and hot process soap making recipes because it boosts lather. Palm Kernel Flakes typically speed up trace in CP Soap. Use this oil in wax tarts and wickless candles, too!

Glycerin is humectant that absorbs moisture from the air and when diluted with water, can soften dry skin. You can use this product in soaps and lotions. We most commonly use Glycerin to incorporate powdered color in soaps!

DIRECTIONS: Pinch off amount required for your formulation. Average usage is a cotton ball size pinch for a 5lb batch of cold process soap. Dissolving Tussah Silk in your Lye water can be tricky. You can pull apart into small strands or chop finely to help dissolve. Add strands directly into your lye solution. Soaking the silk in water before adding this to your lye solution may further help it dissolve completely.
