It is believed that some stomach discomfort and nervousness can be relieved by drinking tea made with equal parts of spearmint and peppermint leaves and honey. Peppermint contains the active ingredient, menthol, which is thought to loosen phlegm and soothe coughs. Peppermint tea is believed to relieve the pressure caused by migraine headaches. Peppermint leaves are frequently added to eye pillow formulas to assist in relieving headaches. Since peppermint produces a cooling and numbing effect on the skin, it is sometimes used in body cream formulations to help with skin irritations.<br />

Lavender flowers can be used in cosmetics and soap recipes.</p>
<p>The lavender pictured above portrays fresh lavender. The lavender that we sell is dried. Obviously, dried lavender is not purple in color. Dried lavender has more of a grayish tinge.<br />

It is used in skincare products for its antioxidant and antiseptic properties.  Rosemary relieves arthritis pain, strains, and bruises.  It also contains salicylates, which can remove dead skin and reduce wrinkles.<br />
Country of Origin: Morocco<br />
Uses in Cosmetics, Soap, Ect.:  </p>
<p>1. Rosemary can be used as a natural decoration in candle making.  Herbs should not be added to candle wax that is actually burned. It can be added to hurricane shells that are never burned, or simply placed around the base of pillars as a decoration. Herbs can, however, be added to candle wax and used as non-burning tarts.<br />
